A slip-on built on the iconic Harry Last — refined for fit, but unmistakably Augie. Hand-lasted, Goodyear welted, and made in black calf that takes a shine. Durable, re-craftable, and shaped to break in, not break down.

The Augie makes an elegant house shoe, and yet is durable enough to be worn around town as a loafer. Fully lined in calf with a padded insole for cushioning - the rubber outsole is stitched through to the interior of the shoe for long lasting grip and comfort.

This model, named the Type-P, has an upper of rich, Italian calf suede. This handsome suede can be treated gently with a rubber suede brush, or left alone to develop a natural patina. The lightweight, cushioned midsole is neatly wrapped in a complimentary tan calfskin.

The Augie Type-P is built around August Special's proprietary Harry Last, this version modified to create the closer fit required in a slip-on shoe. The toe profile and overall expression remain the same as the iconic Harry.
